Bambi II Movie Night

“For it’s out of the darkness that we learn to see…there is life” – There is Life (Bambi II)

Bambi II was a direct-to-video film released in 2006.  Animation was done in Australia by DisneyToon Studios.  I had seen this movie before and I remember being surprised at how much I loved it.  It did not disappoint another time either.  It is not a prequel or sequel, I guess we could call it a “midquel”.  This movie takes place after Bambi’s mother dying and before the Spring scene in the original film when Bambi appears with antlers.

10:24 AM Starting right with the saddest part of the first movie - geez!

10:26 AM Little Bambi is even cuter in this movie!

10:32 AM  The Great Prince has a lot of bottled up emotions from Bambi’s mom dying.  I find this odd considering he was absent at the birth and most of Bambi’s childhood until his mom died.

10:37 AM  I’ve seen this many times before, but I totally forgot about them celebrating Groundhog’s Day, which is one of my favorite days!
