Epic Universe - Day 1
“It’s a great big beautiful tomorrow, shining at the end of every day…”
– "There's a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow," from Walt Disney’s Carousel of Progress
It’s not every day a theme park nerd gets the chance to explore a brand-new park in their own city. So when I received an invite for an early preview of Universal’s Epic Universe, I was absolutely thrilled. On the day of check-in, I was counting down the minutes until I could wrap up work and make my way over to Terra Luna.
Terra Luna is one of three new resorts developed alongside Epic Universe. It has a sister property, Stella Luna, which shares a nearly identical layout. The two hotels have subtle differences in theme and color palette that give each one its own unique vibe.
After arriving, I headed straight to my room to drop off my suitcase and snap a few photos. From the window, I could see Epic Universe in the distance. It was an incredible view that made me even more excited for what the next day would bring.
Since this visit was part of a travel advisor event, our group had a welcome evening planned over at CityWalk. We arrived early to grab drinks and snacks at NBC Grill, which was a fun and casual way to kick things off. From there, we headed to Hard Rock for event check-in, a delicious catered dinner, and a brief presentation introducing us to the all things Epic Universe.
By the end of the night, one thing was clear: I was just getting started, and I couldn’t wait for what was next.
