Bambi Movie Night

Bambi is Disney’s 5th Animated Feature Film which came out in 1942.  Gosh, this movie as some sad moments and equally adorable one.

I thought it would be fun to mimic “Live Tweeting” as a blog post while watching the movies, so enjoy my thoughts below.  

10:09 PM I just LOVE baby animals so much.  

10:10 PM My dog, Gizmo, walked just like Bambi when she was a puppy.

10:16 PM Thumper gets all the love, but Flower is so cute too!

10:23 PM The animation of Bambi’s mom is so good.  The mannerisms are so realistic. 

10:32 PM I find it odd that Bambi’s dad hadn’t met him until this moment.

10:41 PM Flower makes me want to get a pet skunk.

10:42 PM I know what’s coming and this intense music still makes me want to shut my eyes.

10:44 PM I’m just so confused why the Great Prince only decided to be a dad because Bambi’s mom died.

10:45 PM “Gay Little Spring Song” is a very forgotten song from this movie.

10:49 PM “Twitterpated” is such a great word.

10:51 PM  My love of Flower is growing with that skunk prance.

10:53 PM Thumper is start to look more like Br’er Rabbit from Song of the South and Rabbit from Winnie the Pooh.

10:55 PM  This cloud scene is giving me Fantasia vibes.  I wonder if they use concept art from Fantasia as inspiration.

11:05 PM I don’t know how anyone can hunt after watching this movie.

11:09 PM Flower’s kid, Bambi, also has my heart.

11:10 PM So Bambi is going to take after his dad and ditch Faline and his kids?  Odd ending.
